Apex Rental Terms & Conditions

Requirements:

  • Rentals will be denied if towing vehicle does not meet Apex Rentals’ towing standards.
  • All renters must provide a major credit card, valid driver’s license, and current proof of insurance.
  • We have the right to refuse service or rental to any customer.
  • Equipment must be used only in the State of Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas
  • Each rental period is for 24 hours (ex. 2 pm Monday thru 2 pm Tuesday)

Damages and Fees:

  • There will be a $125.00 minimum charge for any work done on a customer’s vehicle to get it to work properly for the rented trailer, if improvements/repairs are made to the vehicle.
  • A minimum cleaning fee of $30 will be charged for all equipment returned dirty.
  • If any rented accessory items are missing or damaged, you will be responsible for full replacement value.
  • If the equipment is returned damaged, all repairs will be at Apex Equipment LLC at the labor rate of $125/hour.
  • Any equipment returned late is subject to a minimum of a half-day charge.  If the equipment is over 12 hours late, a full day charge will be imposed.  Any equipment that has not returned within 7 days of due date will be reported stolen. 

After Hours Drop-Off:

  • Equipment and accessories may be dropped off after business hours at the risk of the renter.
  • A coupler lock will be provided at the request of the renter. Drop the keys in the drop box on the fence after lock is secured.

Additional Items for Rent:

  • Ball Mount, Ball and Pin: $5.00 per rental term
  • Brake Controller Set Up: $25.00 per rental term
  • Coupler Lock: Free
  • Car Hauler Tie Down Strap Pack: $20.00 per rental term
    • Includes: (4) 8′ 10K combo axle straps with 18” chain extension, (4) strap wraps
  • E-Track Tie Down Strap Pack: $20.00 per rental term
    • Includes: E-Track Rental Pack:  8 D-Rings, (4) 16′ ratchet straps, 8 Straps with D-Ring

Weekends:

  • Friday Pickup – If 1 day rental – due back by Saturday at 12:00 PM
  • Saturday Pickup – 1 day rental – due back Monday at 9am
  • Holiday Weekend Pickup (picked up last business day) – 2 day rental – due back next business day at 9am
